For her excellent classroom and teaching management as a faculty member and Chairman of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, attaining the rank of Full Professor

 

For her untiring leadership as Dean of the Institute of Medicine of Far Easter University - Dr. Nicanor Reyes Medical Foundation, bringing honors to the Institute and putting it as one of the best medical schools in the Philippines

 

For being a distinguished member of the Council of the Association of Philippine Medical Colleges, as Treasurer and eventually its President

 

For her untiring service to the Philippine Obstetrical and Gynecological Society, attaining the presidency and receiving the Baldomero Roxas Memorial Award, the highest award for academic performance

 

For the distinction of being the only Filipina to be bestowed the title "Woman Obstetrician Gynecologist of the Year"  by the International Federation of Obstetrics and Gynecology in 2000 in Washington, D.C.

 

For her continuing effort to upgrade obstetric and gynecologic practices in the Philippines in her capacitiy as Chairman of the Philippine Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology

 

For her services as Chairman of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology in various hospitals

 

For her numerous published and unpublished researches and investigations in the field of Obstetrics and Gynecology

 

For furthering and sharing her medical knowledge to medical students as a writer, contributor and Associate Editor of the New Textbook in Obstetrics by the Association of Philippine Medical Colleges

 

For her contribution on the making of the Handbook for Obstetrics and Gynecology Practitioners

 

in RECOGNITION of her achievements, she is hereby awarded the title POFESSOR EMERITUS in Obstetrics and Gynecology with all the rights and privileges thereto appertaining.
